This notice is provided under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) by Topak Turizm ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. (D’Sage Göcek Pansiyon), acting as data controller.

Data Processed

Security cameras record video images at the entrance, the pool area, the yoga and sports area, and all outdoor areas of our property (including the garden, car park and pathways). No audio is recorded. There are no cameras in guest rooms, bathrooms, toilets or changing areas.

Purposes

Images are processed for the following purposes:

  • The safety and security of our guests, staff, visitors and their belongings,
  • The physical security of the property,
  • Preventing and detecting theft, damage and similar incidents,
  • Use as evidence in possible legal disputes,
  • Responding to requests from competent authorities.

Method and Legal Basis

Images are collected automatically through a closed-circuit camera system. The legal bases are:

  • KVKK Art. 5/2-(f): The legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed,
  • KVKK Art. 5/2-(e): The establishment, exercise or protection of a legal right.

Disclosure

Recordings may be disclosed only to competent public authorities (law enforcement, judicial and administrative authorities) upon request and as required by law. They are not shared with any other third parties.

Retention and Security

Recordings are kept for 10 days and are then automatically overwritten. Where an incident requires investigation, the relevant footage may be retained until the matter is concluded. Access is limited to authorised persons, and the recording device is protected by physical and technical measures.

Your Rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed,
  • Request information about such processing,
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
  • Know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom it is disclosed,
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
  • Request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions set out in the law,
  • Request that corrections or deletions be notified to the third parties to whom the data was disclosed,
  • Object to outcomes against you arising solely from automated analysis,
  • Claim compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing.
