Tanfer and his wife Kamile bought the villa from a British couple who had built it in the Italianate style as a private villa in 2009 and latterly had opened it to guests. The building includes a large portion of land which Tanfer and Kamile have terraced and planted with 200 fruit and olive trees, and created a fragrant lavender, thyme and sage garden, also planting roses, bougainvillea, pomegranates and yucca. In the spring poppies, daisies, camomile and cyclamen burst forth all around, butterflies and grasshoppers appear, and the surroundings are filled with bird song. If you’re looking for peace and comfort with panoramic views in the midst of nature, D’Sage Göcek offers all this and more.
Tanfer is a founding partner of the well-known Huzur Vadisi Yoga Retreats, he is also a trained artist and yoga instructor. His wife Kamile is an architect, and in addition is a breath work Instructor. D`Sage Göcek expresses the union of architecture and art. Tanfer’s artwork adorns the walls and Kamile provides the simplicity and comfort of the interior decoration.
Tanfer says, ‘We want to share D’Sage Göcek. This is our story; from here we are advancing step-by-step, flourishing, developing.
